Kalamkari refers to the art of hand-painting textiles with a kalam (pen)with natural dyes or block-printing in a style resembling hand drawing.It is inspired by nature(fauna), folklore, episodes in mythology, Mughal art, making it one of the most celebrated Indian Handloom art.
